(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Assists all teacher education faculty in Educator Preparation Programs (EPP) (bachelor, masters, specialist and doctorate) within the college and across four other colleges as the designated administrator of the electronic assessment system. Responsible for implementing the electronic assessment system in all EPP programs. Provides technical support and conducts training workshops for faculty and students. Coordinates the management and reporting for academic assessment data. Supports faculty in the development and implementation of system processes. Creates portfolio tables of content as required within the system to implement the assessment system for the designated programs and links rubrics with content-specific standards.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Serves as primary technical support for faculty and students in the use of the approved electronic assessment system
2. Provides technical support to faculty and program coordinators in the development of assessment system tables of content and rubrics for education related programs
3. Conducts training workshops for faculty and students on how to use the assessment system
4. Completes system back-end linking of relevant content standards to each program's assessments
5. Generates system data and reporting for the program assessments on a semester and annual basis
6. Serves as the primary help desk support for faculty and students with technical, access and/or account issues
7. Prepares accreditation related reports including data tables, data summaries with descriptive and inferential statistics, analysis flags for continuous improvement for the programs and unit level reporting
8. Liaisons with assessment system vendor(s) for escalated technical issues
9. Assists in the evaluation, testing and implementation of new system features and updates
10. Maintains current instructional materials for candidates and faculty in the use of the system
11. Collaborates with campus UITS to implement, manage and update the technical integration features between the assessment system infrastructure and D2L, Banner and/or Owl Express
12. Works with campus UITS to provide the technical specifications that will allow users the ability to checkout video equipment to create video clips for edTPA and individual assessment
documents

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Required Experience
Five (5) years of experience working in higher education, P-12 education related position or corporate systems support

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience
Previous experience with higher education assessment modules
Previous IT experience

Proposed Salary

Offers will be based on candidate experience and budget availability.

Proposed Salary

ABILITIES
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

KNOWLEDGE
Experience with Banner INB, Owl Express
Experience generating data using GACE (ETS- Education Testing Service Data Reporting Platform and edTPA (Pearson Inc. Data Reporting Platform)
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite particularly Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Owl Express
Experience working with electronic assessment systems (LiveText, Campus Labs, Chalk and Wire)
Experience creating, administering, and reporting related to surveys for candidates, external constituents, and faculty utilizing Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey or equivalent
Experience creating and offering enhanced technology and face-to-face training with adult learners to utilize educational technologies related to Chalk and Wire Assessment system and edTPA including audio and video recording, video editing, video compression
Working knowledge of assessment practices, accreditation standards and data reporting practices for continuous improvement

SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
